Green Campus Policy

Sanjeevanee Mahavidyalaya, Chapoli protects its own environment with its green campus policy and keeps its campus pollution free. We undertake green audit to ensure balance between environment and educational performance of the institution. The college administration is having environmental consciousness. Therefore, a special focus is given on the plantation of saplings and their nourishment. Every year, tree plantation is done on the college campus during the rainy season. Thus, college undertakes environment friendly practices to maintain eco-friendly balance in the college campus.

Our Environmental Policy:

• To create awareness regarding environmental policy among the stakeholders of the college
• To maintain pollution free campus
• To make tobacco free campus as per Govt. rules and regulations. The instructions, tobacco free campus signboards are displayed at various places in the campus
• To maximize the use of ICT and minimize the use of paper
• To use solid waste through vermin-compost
• To protect flora and fauna in the campus
• To provide guidance to local stakeholders regarding green campus and encourage them to plant more trees on the open spaces around their residences.
